Red Lodge Montana is going "all-out" on June 10 & 11, 2011 in celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the Beartooth All-American Road. A free BBQ, entertainment, free admission to local attractions, entertainment, and a community parade will be featured on Celebration Weekend. See you there!

6:00 PM – 9:00 PM The Pollard Hotel and the Carbon County Historical Society and Museum host an evening of Beartooth Highway historical presentations. A nominal entrance fee will be charged and proceeds will go to Carbon County Historical
Society and Museum.

Guests will be able to view Beartooth Highway historical photographs displayed in the History Room of the Pollard Hotel.
This photography exhibit will be on display at the Pollard Hotel all of 2011 Calendar Year.

10:00 AM – Historical walking tour of downtown Red Lodge offered by Carbon County Historical Society and Museum – meet at museum – free admission

12 Noon – Parade Start with normal Red Lodge parade route on Broadway

12:15 PM – As parade reaches the announcers stand in front of Flashes (21 S Broadway) there will be a pause and a ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the 75th opening of the BAAR will take place

1:00 PM – 2:00 PM – Free BBQ lunch served to the public at Red Lodge Ale’s recreation area (1445 N Broadway) – tent will be set up and heaters will be running if weather dictates this

2:00 PM – Carbon County Historical Society and Museum present “Sky Tour Talk” by John Mueller (Buses of Yellowstone Preservation and Trust board member). Sit back and enjoy a 1930’s Yellow Bus tour guide narrative re-enactment without ever having to leave the museum. 45 minute duration – free admission

2:00 PM – Join Beartooth Bike Tours for the ultimate Beartooth Highway Experience! Take advantage of the 10% Celebration Weekend Discount – The bus ride up the pass launches from Red Lodge Ales

3:00 PM – Carbon County Historical Society and Museum present Jon Axline’s historical presentation on Dr. Siegfriedt. A man with the vision. 45 minute duration – free admission

4:00 PM – 6:00 PM – Buses of Xanterra, Concessionaire of Yellowstone Park, present Vista Point yellow bus tour (round trip) departing from museum.

An Evening of Celebration and fun

6:00 PM – 10:00 PM – Ten Foot Tall and Eighty Proof will perform on Red Lodge Ale’s stage. Free admission to the public. Cash bar for beer sales.
